“Jalisco Live” Emotional, Unforgettable, Historic
Alejandro Fernández and friends support México
The Malecon of Puerto Vallarta looked absolutely crowded, thousands of people waited since 1:00 p.m. holding on to their spots to see their favorite artists. On the ocean tens of vessels, many were to enjoy the concert from the water. It was a magical, warm, rainy evening. It was all set for the entertainment industry to deliver their message to Mexico and the world.
 An intense rain delayed the beginning of the historic event. At 9:00 Gloria Calzada bode all in attendance welcome, and Belanova went on stage to sing their hits “Every time”, “1,2,3,Go”. Sandoval, a debuting band, presented his number “To Kiss You”.
Colombia was represented by Fanny Lu, who got everybody singing along with her hit “You are not for me”. Then came Argentinean singer Coti’s turn to sing “None of these was a mistake”, followed by Maria Jose who sang “I’m not a lady”, from her most recent CD.
Around 11 p.m. Alejandro Fernandez appeared on stage and the crowd went mad. He started off with some of his hit pop songs and welcomed the audience and thanked everyone on their presence. The concert was a true gift to the audience, with many guest artists joining Alejandro to sing duets thus sending a message of support to the Mexican people. Noel, Gianmarco, and Mario Sandoval joined him on stage.
 MC Gloria Calzada announced Enrique Iglesias, who made the audience’s delight with great hits such as “I cry for you”, “Never” and “Tell me”. He surprisingly walked down the stage and into the crowd, and blew everybody’s mind. There was an incredible mood in the audience, everybody was singing along.
Alejandro returned to the stage in a charro outfit to sing classic ranchero songs such as “Guadalajara”, “Ay, Jalisco no te Rajes”, “Mexico Lindo y Querido” that shook everyone’s spirit.
Aleks Syntek appeared on stage to sing the movie theme “The dark side of love”. He was followed by Luis Fonsi, and then a quartet made up  of Fonsi, Bisbal, Syntek and Noel sang for the first time live the son “Here I Am”.
The Romantic piano notes of Raul DiBlasio accompanied “I’m in the Mood”. Reily came up to sing Gipsy Love, in duo with Alejandro.
When Joan Sebastian appeared on stage, people joined him to sing his great hits.
Alejandro invited his friends to join him on stage for a final number; 15 artists altogether wearing T-shirts with the name of their home towns. There were many countries represented by friends singing together for one cause: Supporting Mexico.
It was nearly six hours of music that one hundred thousand people enjoyed in Puerto Vallarta and many more will watch on TV.
Gloria Estefan, Paulina Rubio, Raúl Di Blasio, Aleks Syntek, Luis Fonsi, Reyli Barba, Gianmarco, Merche, Belanova, Sandoval, Ha*ash, María José, Paty Cantú and Axel will join Alejandro Fernandez for a second concert in Guadalajara on June 27.
