The President of the National Confederation of Employers Visits Vallarta
Ricardo Gonzalez Sada, president of the national confederation of employers (Coparmex, Spanish acronym), recently visited Puerto Vallarta as part of a national tour he is taking regarding the 80th anniversary celebration the organization will be holding next October.
Within the framework of his visit to this city, he took the time to meet with the local chapter's board, and to talk to the media in a press conference offered at the meeting room of the Coparmex’s office in town.
Later, he was guest of honor to a luncheon in the restaurant The River Café on the banks of the Cuale River, downtown, where he got a taste of the local hospitality and amiability, which made him put his speech notes aside and speak from his heart to say that in times like we are living, unity of all businessmen is the only way to survive a crisis. He also emphasized his satisfaction on the resurgence of the local chapter of Coparmex, and reiterated the support of the national board to Margarita Ortiz and the local chapter.
Mayor Javier Bravo took the floor to express his agreement with Mr. Gonzalez ideas and said that the country will be stronger when the foundation of its socioeconomical structure, which the municipality is, is in turn strengthened.
Ricardo González Sada and Coparmex Puerto Vallarta Chairwoman Margarita Ortiz Muñoz shared the bread with Puerto Vallarta Mayor Javier Bravo Carbajal, Hotel and Motel Association Chairwoman Gemma Garciarce, Chamber of Commerce President Carlos Gerard, Restaurant Chamber President Alejandro Desentis, Jalisco Tourism Secretariat Regional Director Ludwig Estrada and Mayor Elect Salvador González.
A large turnout of businessmen and personalities from the different sectors of the Puerto Vallarta society crowded the host restaurant. Mr. Gonzalez Sada promised to return soon.
