Quitotia Yohualli Group Offered Great Performance
El Pitillal audiences enjoyed the appearance of one of the best-known folkloric groups in the state
As part of the program of municipal exchange, emerged from the regional ordinary assemblies organized and headed by Puerto Vallarta, to promote the work carried out by the different houses of culture in the state, a night full of music and fun was lived last weekend at the Main Plaza in El Pitillal, wioth the presentation of one of the most emblematic folkloric groups, Casimiro Castillo’s Quitotia Yohualli.
This group was formed more than a decade ago, and through ten years they have appeared on important stages in various Jalisco municipalities, as well as different contests such as the Rafael Zamarripa, which takes place in Guadalajara, where they qualified as one of the best, and earned the right to perform in the Degollado Theater, the city's most important theater.
During their visit to the Port, they delighted the audience with their dances from the states of Guerrero, Michoacán and Jalisco, and they shared the stage with a young singer only 12 years old. Jose de Jesus Ruiz Brambila “El Cuate” owner of an impressive voice, sang such famous themes as “Ella”, El Jalisciense”, “Prieta Linda” among others. He is a young talented singer of whom we will be hearing a lot in the future.
This is one of the actions promoted by the Municipality of Puerto Vallarta to bring to the city a series of free events for the local families to enjoy.
