Tellosa’s Masterful Art in Splendid Exhibition
Tellosa is a name linked to the evolution of the art movement in Puerto Vallarta. Creations by this prolific artist stand out for their originality and anybody who’s been to Puerto Vallarta has most likely admired them. This Wednesday, December 21, an exhibition of Tellosa’s works opens at Galeria Corsica, with a cocktail reception at from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.
Jesus Botello Sanchez (Tellosa) was born in Tacambaro, Michoacan in 1936, and was raised in Guadalajara and California.
He began art studies at the Mexico-Norteamericano Institute in Guadalajara(1958-60). During this period he proved a skillful draftsman with great sensitivity to capture the model’s soul.
