There’s a lot of Nice in Japanice

Japanice, the Japanese contemporary cuisine located on Morelos Street, downtown, recently announced its new menu.
We were there last week and enjoyed a very nice evening, tasting the new dishes on the menu. Once again, Japanice has proven creativity does not accept boundaries.
sushi We were really impressed by the additions to the menu. The Sushi section in the menu was expanded to offer a greater variety of rolls, Nigiri and Sashimi. This is the way the restaurant expresses appreciation for its patrons, who had suggested some of these changes to the management.
And a great response from the restaurant it is. The new creations are really imaginative and delicious.
Among those that caught our eye is the Caterpillar roll, an exquisite roll topped with slices of eel and avocado, and sesame seeds. Even more sensational, we feel, is the new coconut battered roll, crowned with a tasty shrimp tartar. It’s a true delicacy.
el sky barAnother excellent variety is the roll topped with an exquisite, slightly spicy tuna tartar, which like all others was very enticing.
The new menu at Japanice includes other new dishes, like soups and salads and tantalizing Tepanyaki options.
Among the new desserts, we found the banana tempura with chocolate sauce irresistible. It is really a sweet, very interesting proposal from Japanice. It closed our tasting on a high note. There is a lot of Japan, as well as plenty of nice, in Japanice.
The Sky Bar boasts spectacular views of the bay, full service bar, signature cocktails, light appetizers in a chic lounge atmosphere, as well as mood lighting and the best DJ in town.
