A splendid ball at the Canto del Sol Hotel ballroom marked the 26th anniversary of the Puerto Vallarta employers syndicate, Coparmex, on Friday, March 5.
mago solaMargarita Ortiz, chair of the syndicate’s Puerto Vallarta Chapter, took the floor to congratulate everyone on one more year of continued success. She expressed her satisfaction for the achievements made by the board she chairs.
Mayor Salvador Gonzalez Resendiz was special guest to the ball, and upon addressing the audience, said municipal government and businessmen must join efforts and work together as a team, “since it is you, the businessmen, who bet on Puerto Vallarta with your investments.”
He went on to say that the members of Coparmex have all the support from the City Hall, and he closed by saying “We must concern ourselves about the new generations who will enjoy the change of direction we are giving to this beautiful destination. It will be our daughters and sons who will thank us for all the hard work.”
After the speeches, the Coparmex Board, unannounced, presented Mago Ortiz with recognition plates on a lifetime career as businesswoman, and on a remarkable job done as chairwoman of the syndicate.
