Strategic Alliance Entered into by Aeromexico and Grupo Excelencias

On Thursday, December 3, at the La Mansion restaurant, Grupo Excelencias and Aeromexico signed an exclusive agreement for an aggressive promotion of Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit, through the project “Tourist Passport”, which encompasses 30 restaurants and 5 important tourist services providers.
The agreement was signed by representatives of both corporations. Consuelo Elipe, Director of Grupo Excelencias in Puerto Vallarta, and Carlos Elizondo, Marketing Director; while District Manager Edgar Gonzalez Pulido and Sales Director Armida Lopez signed for Aeromexico. Municipal Director of Tourism Enrique Tovar signed the agreement as witness of honor.
Participating restaurants in this promotional effort are Trio, The Blue Shrimp, Si Señor, Caio Tres, Mestizo, The River Café, La Dolce Vita, Vitea, De Santos, Mi Querencia, Ztai, Memories Café, Gaby, Señor Frog´s, No Way José, La Palapa, Mar Azul, Margarita Grill, Ritmos Beach Café, Beijing, La Piazzeta, Vista Grill, La Mansión, La Albufera, Mariscos Cuetos, El Raco de Cataluña, Tikul, Coffee Cup, La Laguna, El Eden.
Among the participating tourist service providers are: Cruceros Princesa, Cruceros Santa María, Cruceros Geronimo, Tropical Adventures Tours and Opal Mine.
The agreement entered into includes a great promotional effort to be carried out on an intenational level, aiming to create new ways to attract tourists and business travelers by providing added value to the destination.
The passport must be shown by users along with their boarding pass to be eligible for the the various promotions included.
The tourist passport will be distributed very actively through the following channels:
Advertising in Aeromexico’s Premier bulletin,
Advertising in Aeromexico’s web page
Electronic Flyer distributed to international travel agencies’ data bases
PVR Passport handout in Aeromexico Premier Lounges in Guadalajara, Mexico City, Monterrey, Tijuana and Los Angeles.
Likewise, on participating companies’ web pages with a PVR Passport banner and a link to Aeromexico’s web page.
This promotional campaign, it was announced at the signing, will be in effect from December 01, 2009 to July 31, 2010, and applies in round trip rates to Puerto Vallarta from Mexico, United States, Europe, Asia and South America.
