Puerto Vallarta Mayor Salvador Gonzalez Resendiz joined Governor Emilio Gonzalez Marquez, AMResorts CEO Alejandro Zozaya, Bancomext General Director Hector Rangel, Jalisco Tourism Secretary Aurelio Lopez Rocha and Pulso Inmobiliario President Salomon Kamkhaji in a ground breaking ceremony for two important developments in the city.
With investmens of 150 million dollars, the construction of two hotels from the AMResorts hotel chain kicks off in the second most important tourist destination in the country. The mayor thanked the developers for believing in Puerto Vallarta and above all because these types of ventures create the largest number of jobs for the inhabitants of the municipality; something that has not happened in the city for nearly a decade.
“This comes to be a reactivation of our community’s finances, because during the two years of construction, 1000 jobs will be created for the people of Puerto Vallarta, either directly or indirectly. Once hotel operation begins, more jobs will be created. The number of luxury rooms will increase by 10% in the destination, giving travelers more vacation choices” Salvador Gonzalez said.
State Governor Emilio Gonzalez applauded the interest of developers to make business in Puerto Vallarta, and congratulated the mayor for opening the doors to investments, and most of all, for facilitating the development of these properties without putting unnecessary obstacles like other governments in the country do.
Secrets Puerto Vallarta Resort and Spa is the name of one of the hotels, which will have 207 rooms aimed at an adult audience, because the idea is to create an atmosphere of romance and sensuality in an Unlimited Luxury concept, and a world-class spa.
Now Ambar Resort and Spa is the other property complementing the complex, under the concept to enjoy every instant, relate with others and to indulge the goodness this bay offers to the world. It will have 331 rooms for couples, families and friends; it will be a place that will offer multiple choices for fun or relaxation.
