Setting your sights for dinner at Kaiser Maximilian in Puerto Vallarta includes fabulous food plus an extensive wine list.
“Wine as you know goes very well with food,” says Andreas Rupprechter, Kaiser Maximilian Owner, “Normally you like to have some excellent food with some great wine and we have a nice selection of cuisine and wine. Our knowledgeable staff can suggest a perfect pairing between the food and the wine so your meal will be a fabulous experience.”
Andreas prides himself on having an extensive wine selection. You will be able to pair any entrée with a complimentary wine or just enjoy the bottle with an appetizer. “We have a great list of about 150 wines. We have some hearty Chardonnays, Sauvignon Blancs, and for red wines we have Cabernets, Merlots, Shiraz’, and some of the Bordeaux blends. The wines come from all over the world.”
The wine list could be a bit overwhelming so let the staff assist you with your selection.
“Luis Peña Maeda has been with me for about 15 years, he continues to express a great deal of interest in all the different wines,” says Andreas, “He attends various seminars and wine courses when they are available. He is familiar with every wine on our list and he can explain its flavor and make recommendations so you can thoroughly savor your meal.”
Regional wines are highly recommended and add variety to the palate.
“We have a bottle of Marcoset; it’s a very nice Mexican wine made with grapes originating from Spain,” says Luis Peña Maeda, Wine Specialist at Kaiser Maximilian, “It’s going to be excellent with rack of lamb or our wonderful beef tenderloin. It’s simply a nice wine.”
With such a large wine selection it’s very easy to match the wine to your meal and the food even tastes better with the wine.

A Highland Park, Illinois delegation visited Mayor Salvador Gonzalez Resendiz’s office and presented him with the Key to the City of Highland Park. Carol Wolfe, President of the Highland Park Sister Cities Committee was charged with presenting the mayor of Puerto Vallarta with such honor. Mr. Gonzalez thanked the delegation on behalf of the inhabitants of Puerto Vallarta for all the benefits the sisterhood between both cities brings about.
