With an eventful weekend the second edition of the Cuale Cultural Festival “Culture in Motion” came to a close last Sunday, with local groups working alongside internationally renowned artists.
A very special performance was presented as closing act, a remarkable act created by local artists like Julian Gonzalez, international ones like mime Won Israel and B&B duo, who were charged with scoring and performing the music, along with one of the top Mariachi bands in Puerto Vallarta, Mariachi Real de America, who put on a high quality show to close the festival.
Organizing committee president Evangelina Sánchez Dueñas addressed the audience to thank everybody in the staff, as well as festival sponsors, because it was their contributions that made the festival possible. Both artists and sponsors contributed in kind to the festival.
Representing the municipal government of Puerto Vallarta, in attendance were Councilman Miguel Gonzalez Guerra, Tourism Director Jose Luis Diaz Borioli, and Monica Venegas, under director of the Art and Culture Department, who in turn, recognized participants as well as organizers on their interest in the culture of Puerto Vallarta.
Thus, after nearly 100 events with the participation of over 400 artists in one week of hard work, a light parade illuminated the sky above the Banderas bay marking the end of the second edition of the Cuale Cultural Festival, “Culture in Motion”
