Presentation of Haciendas and Rural Houses of Jalisco

presentationLast Friday, June 27 at the Villa Mercedes Hotel on Amapas Street in the Romantic Zone ther was a presentation for the media and local tour operators of the concept Haciendas y Casas Rurales de Jalisco (Jalisco Haciendas and Rural Houses).
This is a tourist association, bringing together and representing Haciendas, manors and estancias, as a promotional alternative to promote and publicize the services they offer within their premises.
This association’s mission is to give extraordinary experiences that allow satisfying a lifestyle inspired by the art of living. In the old haciendas and rural houses of Jalisco a new type of tourist product has developed, which haciendacombines the stately lifestyle of the large agricultural properties and the amenities and services that today’s traveler demands, such as spa facilities and services and outdoor activities, including some extreme sports.
Thus, they give travelers the opportunity to live the history of days gone by, the emotion of staying in a unique, special establishment, to tour magical villages, with such cultural and historical wealth, and experiencing the warmth of their people.
Either on business or pleasure, comfortable lodging, spas, events and business centers allow you to enjoy and live with nature, culture and traditions of its people, to savor authentic Mexican cuisine, incredible stories impregnated with legend, myth and fantasy, which transport the listener to a magical world that is hard to forget, creating pleasant memories and the best of experiences.
dra sahagunGracious hostess to the event was Villa Mercedes’ owner Mercedes Guillen. In attendace were city officials, among them Regional Tourism Director Ludwig Estrada Virgen, Municipal Tourism Director Enrique Tovar, Tourism Board Director Miguel Gonzalez, and Coparmex President Margarita Ortiz.
The presentation was made by owners of haciendas and rural houses who traveled to Puerto Vallarta to that end. Each referred their hotel’s characteristics, the services they offer and the attractions that surround them.
The group was headed by Association President Maria del Rosario Sahagun, M.D. During the presentation a promotional video was shown, and later, courtesy stays in Haciendas y Casas Rurales de Jalisco’s member hotels were raffled among those in attendance.
Cocktails and snacks were enjoyed by all, as well as samples of traditional Jalisco candies and fruit punch.
