On Thursday, April 22, at the Bougainvilleas Sheraton Hotel’s Mexican Patio, a gala dinner took place for the presidents and directors of the Coparmex centers around the country, who were in town for their annual seminar, which was held on April 20 to 23, headed by the national president of the organization, Gerardo Gutierrez Candiani. Fifty-six presidents and directors gathered here to discuss themes that are relevant to the entrepreneurial activity in the country.
Mago OrtizThe Bugainvilleas Sheraton Hotel and the Puerto Vallarta Coparmex Center hosted the gala dinner, which included performances by the Joya de America Mariachi, one of the best in town, and the Larry Casalsa Band, made up of students from the Regional High School of the University of Guadalajara, who had a successful debut that evening. All in attendance also enjoyed a performance by a local modern dance group.
Gerardo GutierrezSpecial guest at the event was Puerto Vallarta Mayor Salvador Gonzalez Resendiz, as well as State Government’s Economic Promotion Secretary Alonso Ulloa Velez, as representative of State Governor Emilio Gonzalez Marquez. City Council members were also in attendance, as was Regional Director of Tourism Ludwig Estrada Virgen.
At the event, recognition awards were presented to Bougainvilleas Sheraton Director Gemma Garciarce, because the hotel was recently named the cleanest hotel in Mexico; and Margarita Ortiz, on her outstanding achievements as president of the Puerto Vallarta- Bahia de Banderas chapter of Coparmex.
Along with a delicious four-course dinner and a splendid show, all in attendance enjoyed a great fireworks display.
